Norma’s Vegard Jorgensen is explaining how to use Tetra Gun care products on this rifle in Norwegian, but the video presentation can be easily understood by anybody, speaking any language, around the world.

Note that Vegard is running the cleaning rod from the rear of the rifle, forward towards the front, best referred to as “breech to muzzle” — and you should try your best to drive the rod thru the bore as straight as possible, as not to scratch the rod on the throat of the barrel. As you can see, he installed a retainer at the muzzle end to collect fouling residue, as not to make a mess. Repeat a dozen times as needed.

Follow brushing with clean, dry patches or a cotton mop accessory until the last patch is dry.

And, for best results, do not return the brush, mop or patch holder back thru the breech, which would drop residue into the action. Detach the brush every time after it passes out thru the muzzle.
