Now that the 2024 Shot Show is over, I can reflect on this week in Las Vegas, and my show experiences going back over three decades now. 

It is very satisfying and validating to have gun owners walk by the booth to share a “drive by” call out “Great product!” Sometimes, that is delivered with a thumbs up or a quick salute, but any recognition is always appreciated – more so when the end users stop to talk with us.

And then there are those who never hear of Tetra Gun, or don’t know much (or say they don’t) and begin a dialogue over choosing the right products, or problem solving something that recently happened.

And then, there are those who just want to snatch up freebies off the counter, whether or not they know what they have in their hand. It’s ok. In fact, it’s a little funny to watch people come and go.

Overall, we always look forward to seeing customers, old contacts and new connections that can discover our products for the first time, and it always starts with the story of the invention of our flagship fluoropolymer lubricant formulas. Once people here the overview, the usually get it, probably because the explanation makes sense.

Next year, maybe they can come back and tell us they bought a tube or bottle, and say “thanks, this stuff really works.”
