Waiting for the next best gun cleaning product or gun lube to surface to continue the great debate

There really are too many different brands of gun lube and gun cleaner to choose from, but maybe they serve a purpose. They expose the people who would buy and use any gun cleaning product if the label and sales pitch were sexy enough. The saddest part are the repeat offenders and the self-proclaimed mad scientists who concoct their own witch’s brew. Good luck. Other priceless (useless) tidbits of wisdom include:

Motor oil and transmission fluid are great for guns.

Any ole lube will do.

Y’all need to build accumulation in the bore for more accurate firing.

What you really want is “bore seasoning.” (bore treatment, but sure, you’re close).

Wax is the best choice for firearm lubrication.
