Gun care products like Tetra are targeted by posers and con artists
WARNING: Be careful. The internet is full of misinformation about many things including gun care products. There are competitors and self-serving Amazon store promoters who slander brands like Tetra while boosting their own agenda through deep fake websites, often touting inferior product brands that are not what they say they are and/or they don’t understand what they are talking about in the first place, nor do they care.
Beware of claims like being “military grade” because it’s almost always a lie. If those products are military-grade, then we are superior to military grade.
There is another class of ego-driven free speech that claims inferior and inappropriate automotive lubricants are the best and cheapest choice. More garbage. For example, motor oil is going to make a mess and delivery very little. And worse than that, thick petroleum bearing grease is also a very poor choice for gunmetal.
Brands that claim nano technology are uneducated if not blatant self-promoting deceivers. Nano particles are way too expensive to use and we have lab data to prove that. Our fluoropolymer particle is around 4 microns, which is the ideal size for gunmetal pores on the microscopic level. At 1/100th of size of our particle, it would be like a poor substitute for moly at Rolls Royce prices – but it’s not even remotely possible. Once again, the cost is $1,400+ per gram as an additive. Doesn’t sound legit. So, these are just words – misused.
And last are the well-established traditional low performance products. It’s amazing how badly one can exaggerate something, like putting lipstick on a pig. Shame on you if you think what’s sold in Wal-Mart or even gas stations are the most high-performance gun lube or gun cleaner choices.
Do your own homework. We can’t stop internet fraud but know that Tetra Gun is a proven product line that backs up what it claims with quality materials and certified test data.
