Any firearm deserves your attention because even a little cleaning followed by applying Tetra Gun lube products will enhance your range experience.

Run a solvent soaked cotton patch down the bore of a 12 gauge shotgun.
Spray down exterior gun metal with Tetra Gun Action Blaster and then wipe off carbon residue.
Wipe down with a silicone gun cloth is synthetic gun oil is not readily available.
Apply Tetra Gun grease to the trigger, the hinge and the choke threading, at least.
Run a cotton mop down the barrel to treat the surface with Tetra Gun Lubricant or Triple Action CLP, and dry swab out excess.
Whether you are in the field or at the range, maintaining a long gun in fire ready condition is important. And that means preparing the rifle or shotgun for storage as well.
Clean, lubricate and protect. It’s an idea that I would think any gun lube company preaches but not everybody takes care of their shooting sports hardware.

For light duty use gun owners, especially when it comes to pistols, a water-based cleaner degreaser is an easier, gentler way to clean fouling off of firearms. Just spray and wipe off. Maybe use a gun cloth, swabs or a nylon mil-spec brush but in any case, a pre-treatment of fluoropolymer lubricant will make cleaning up easier.
Get more rounds down range with your handgun before relubrication with a superior gun grease or gun lube. For me, simply dry wiping after going through a couple boxes of rounds is common.
Minimize buildup.
Go shooting.
Wipe down after action.
Breakdown a firearm when you get home or give it to a credible gunsmith or over the counter at your local gun shop. Most gun stores will have qualified staff for gun care services. However, DYI is very feasible if you take the time.
