The rest of the world watches as Americans struggle over which perspective on morals is most just, and guns are always drawn into the conversation.

Even though the struggle for second amendment rights seems never ending, and it is and will always be, it is what guarantees the other freedoms that are bestowed upon us.

Only when you look closely do you step back and recognize what we have. How we handle our guns are the truest expression of free will in how we choose to handle them responsibly, or recklessly. That is the question.

If only everybody appreciated what opportunities we as Americans have that others do not. We draw the world’s envy, and disdain, but it is the American condition.

I would rather deal with, than without. Somehow this discussion intertwines with faith, economics, education and more understandably politics but it comes down to one thing – defending the 2nd.
