During the 1960s, the U.S. Army introduced a problem-solver lubricant cleaner solution called Cleaner, Lubricant, Protectant (CLP) that went from a temporary fix to a long-term solution. Today, there are many commercial alternatives that call themselves CLP, I guess in concept, but only the Tetra Gun Triple Action formula is authentic to the originally intended material. The difference is the fluoropolymer particle of PTFE, originally introduced by duPont, and now made in other forms by other companies.
The particle is what separates this product from other gun oils, gun lubes and even gun grease. By providing a solid barrier between two surfaces of gunmetal, you most effectively minimize friction in the bore, and other parts to prevent unnecessary wear. From the Tetra Gun brand, this Lubricating Wipes product is a very handy way to offer a conveniently sized after action wipe down product. Remove carbon fouling. Lubricate metal parts. Provide a protective coating so that you can store firearms with peace of mind.
Tetra Gun offers the Triple Action liquid in both a 2 oz. dropper tip style bottle and an 8 oz. trigger spray format, along with the Gun Wipes version as shown above. You can also consider the Gun Spray aerosol another option to accomplish the same functions.

Be weary of any and all unknown brands that throw the acronym CLP on a bottle. Many are not what they say they are or are simply not as effective. CLP is not CLP. I can’t believe so many people get fooled by promotions for Chinese made knock offs from China and alike from imaginary companies vs. a real American Made brand with a long history that has proven itself to be worthy of your trust.
